RivetPrep Privacy Policy

RivetPrep is an offline study app provided by DHEBE Studios. This policy covers the Android app identified as com.rivetprep.app. Privacy questions can be sent to support@dhebe.com. The public copy is available at https://rivetprep.dhebe.com/privacy/.
Data kept on your device
The app saves the optional name you enter, selected region, target exam date, daily goal, answers, study sessions, question notes, custom decks, bookmarks, flags, flashcard ratings and conceptual-lab progress. Display preferences and reminder settings are also stored on your device. These records make it possible to resume study and show your local progress.
Collection and sharing
RivetPrep does not collect or transmit this app data to DHEBE Studios or a developer-operated server. The app has no accounts, advertisements, purchases, analytics, crash-reporting SDKs, tracking identifiers or automatic cloud sync. It does not sell personal data. This build does not request Android's internet permission. Study features and the copies of this policy and the software licenses are available offline.
Backups you choose to save or restore
Save backup opens Android's file picker and writes a readable JSON file to the destination you select. The file contains your study profile, notes, decks, answers, history and progress. If you choose a cloud storage or other external file provider, that provider receives and handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy. Choose a private destination and protect the file as you would other personal records. Reminder and appearance settings are not included in study backups.
Restore backup reads only the file you select. You can review the import summary and cancel; replacing existing study data requires confirmation. RivetPrep does not automatically upload or email backups. Erasing the app's local data does not delete copies you previously exported; delete those copies separately using the file provider you chose.
Permissions and reminders
Notification permission is requested when you enable optional daily reminders. Android's background scheduling and reboot support help reschedule those local reminders. You can turn reminders off in the app or change notification permission in Android settings. The app does not require contacts, location, microphone, camera or broad storage access. File access uses Android's system picker for the document you choose.
Retention, deletion and your choices
Study data remains on your device until you erase or replace it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Use Erase all local data in Your study plan to remove the study profile and progress and turn off reminders. Device display preferences may remain until you clear Android app storage or uninstall. Automatic Android backup and device-transfer extraction are disabled for this app. No server account or remote deletion request is required because RivetPrep has no server copy of your study data.
External websites and platform services
EPA source links and the public privacy-policy button open your external browser. Those websites can receive normal connection information, such as your IP address, and may use cookies or other services under their own policies. RivetPrep does not send your saved study profile or answers with these links. Google Play, Android and any external browser or file provider operate separately and may process data under their own policies. The local-only statements in this policy describe RivetPrep's app behavior, not every service installed on your device.
Support
If you choose to contact support@dhebe.com, the information you send, such as your email address and message, is received for handling your request. Avoid sending private backup files or study notes unless needed for the issue. Support correspondence is separate from the app's on-device study storage.
Audience and changes
RivetPrep is intended for occupational certification study. The app does not ask for a date of birth or collect children's data through an account or server. If a future version adds online services or changes data handling, its privacy policy and relevant permissions or consent will be updated before those features are enabled. Check the effective date when reviewing a newer version.
